What do I get with my M/BODY subscription?

With your subscription, you’ll get access to a growing library of diverse, on-demand workouts and brand new content added every week. You will also get exclusive admission into our twice weekly LIVE Online classes every Tuesday & Saturday at 10 am PST. During the LIVE you’ll be able to Sculpt, Sweat, Stretch & Connect with Marnie and thousands of other members of our Global Fam in real time. These classes are also recorded and added to the library in case you can't make it. Workouts vary in length between 10 and 60 minutes so you can customize your experience based on your needs.

How do I watch M/BODY workouts?

You can stream your workouts online through any web browser and on your mobile devices through our App (iOS and GooglePlay). You can also access all your content offline via our App.

Do you offer a trial period?

Yes! We are currently offering 7 days free when you sign up. This free trial is an easy way for you to experience the workout, Marnie and our Global Family of supportive members with zero strings attached. We take your credit card details up front so you can easily keep a good thing going. You will not be charged during your 7 day free trial period. 

You can cancel anytime during your trial with just one click in your account - no need to contact us. After 7 days, your credit card will be charged and your chosen subscription will automatically renew each cycle. Cancel anytime through your account or contact our support team if you need to place your subscription on hold connect@mbodybymarniealton.com.

Do you offer refunds?

We typically do not offer refunds however, we want everyone to be happy and understand things happen. If for any reason you need more assistance please do not hesitate to reach out to us via email connect@mbodybymarniealton.com and we will do everything we can to help!


Can I do this workout if I’m pregnant?

M/BODY is safe, effective and can be easily customized to accommodate your evolving needs throughout your pregnancy journey. It can even help prepare you physically and mentally for labor/delivery as well as create a strong foundation for after the baby arrives. It’s an exciting time to be in your body!

It is always recommended to consult with your physician before working out when pregnant (even though physical exercise is generally encouraged!). Typically, if you were physically active before you were pregnant, it is likely safe to remain active during pregnancy as long as it feels good and there are no other contraindications or health conditions. If you’re looking to start working out with us for the first time, it’s always best to speak to your doctor before starting any new program. Do you offer prenatal classes?

All of our classes are designed to be prenatal and postnatal friendly. Over the years, many mamas have been able to workout with us 5-7 days per week all the way up until the baby arrives. Modifications are offered throughout so you’re always able to customize any class in a way that feels right for your body. With 100+ videos in our library it’s easy to choose lower intensity or no impact options as you transition to and from pregnancy. Marnie will show modifications throughout each class. In addition, there is a short ‘Pregnancy Modifications’ video in the Instructional category which provides a helpful overview. Do I need equipment?

Nope! Equipment is minimal and optional for most of our workouts. There is even a ‘No Equipment’ category for times when you’re truly flying solo. When props are incorporated, you can expect to use:

  • Ballet barre or any stable surface (chair, counter, sofa or even a wall if you’re in a pinch)

  • Our signature M/OVEMENT Ball (which can be purchased on our shop page) or substitute (couch cushion, large rolled beach towel or even a big stuffed animal)

  • 1-3lb weights or household items (soup cans, filled water bottles or bags of rice)


How long are the workouts?

There are a variety of workout lengths to suit your schedule. Classes range from 10-60 mins and are all designed to incorporate all of the essential building blocks for health and happiness: Sculpt, Sweat, Stretch & Connection! The catalogue is organized by length so it’s easy to find exactly what you need on any given day. Our shorter *M/<20 videos are great to do solo when you’re short on time, or you can pair them with another video to mix things up. We are constantly adding new content to the library, and communicating with our Global Fam to make sure we’re getting you what you need. All of our workouts are organized by length using this symbol.

Do you show/offer modifications?

Yes. We strive to make each class customizable by offering clear modifications throughout. Whether this is your first time ever taking a barre class, or your 1000th you will be able to make choices to fit your needs as we move. We encourage you to listen to your body and explore all the options. Feel free to check out our ‘Foundations’ category for an overview of some of our more common modification options.

It’s my first class - which class should I try?

If it is your first class we recommend checking out our Foundations section to learn more about the terms used in class and any modifications/customizations you might want to use! Then head over to M/<30 Full Body /1! This is a great starting point! We are excited you’re here!

What type of results will I see?

The more consistent you are able to be, the more quickly you will see amazing results both physically and mentally. Since no two people are the same, neither are our client’s transformations. Do you ship internationally?

As a result of the extreme increase in international shipping, we are not currently able to ship internationally. However, we always try to accommodate everyone as much as we can. Shoot us an email at connect@mbodybymarniealton.com and we will see if we can help!

Do you offer a student or military discount?

Yes! All you need to do is email connect@mbodybymarniealton.com with your student and military id and we will send you a promo code.

What type of classes do you offer?

Under 20 Mins: Our M/<20 section packs a big punch in a short amount of time. Designed to get your heart pumping and your soul shaking, they often focus on a specific theme or muscle group. These videos are perfect as a stand alone workout when you’re  short on time, or as an add on to create a customized experience. 

Signature 60: Where it all started! Our signature 60 min experience is both energizing and meditative. This fun, full body class brings together the SCULPT of targeted muscle toning + the SWEAT of high intensity cardio intervals + the deep, dynamic healing power of STRETCH in equal parts to create a powerful, well rounded workout. This class packs everything your body and soul needs into one sweaty hour.

Barre Sculpt: A full body workout that uses longer intervals of small isometric barre inspired movements to strengthen your body and mind. Focus is form, posture and grace. Short cardio intervals and deep stretch series are incorporated to round out the experience. Minimal impact for maximum results.

Barre Sweat: Get ready to sweat! These classes are similar to Barre Sculpt, just with slightly quicker choreographic changes and longer cardiovascular bursts. High intensity targeted sculpt and dynamic stretching are seamlessly integrated throughout..

Barre Stretch: These classes will help you increase flexibility and relieve tension. Inspired by traditional dance and yoga techniques, our stretch videos are a great way to get centered, open up and let go.

How many days a week should I do this workout? 

We recommend anywhere from 3-5 times per week to see the best results! THe great thing about You will look and feel your best! 

Why do you use different colors in class? 

Colors are healing! We have been using color therapy in all of our classes digital and IRL for over 7 years! Each color has a different healing property and helps different areas of the body which is why the colors are intentionally designed to change when we work different muscle groups. 

How do I favorite a class?

In your app under each video you will see a Favorite with a heart. Click on the heart and once you see it turn red and you will be good to go! 

What is offline mode?

Using the latest version of our App, you can pre-download and store up to seven ‘Replay Classes’ directly to your M/BODY App, so you can go ALL IN with us, even when your WiFi is FULL OUT!

What type of workout do you offer?

All of our workouts are meticulously designed by Marnie. Marnie's method is an energized, balanced, full body workout that’s adaptable to every level of fitness. It’s foundation is her 16 years of teaching and studying barre. You will experience elongating sculpt, uplifting cardio, and deep flexibility training. The focus is on form, fun, and mindfulness. Marnie works barefoot to improve posture and alignment through your entire kinetic chain but of course, shoes are always optional if that's better for you. Movements are choreographed to badass beats and no previous dance or barre experience is required.

How many calories do I burn?

We don’t focus on caloric output instead we believe in wellness that is much more powerful than numbers. You will experience intense cardiovascular intervals (which evoke fat burning), full body muscular conditioning (that will provide a metabolic lift hours after you complete our workout), and deep purposeful stretches that will help you repair, mobilize and elongate.

Will this workout make my thighs bigger?

No! Our unique choreography is designed to create a balanced musculature throughout your entire body. When practiced regularly you will lean out all over. That being said, if this is a new experience for you and you tend to build tissue quickly, within the first month your muscle development may outpace your fat loss. If this occurs, don’t get discouraged! You are on the right path. We encourage you to stay committed. Within three months, your body will recalibrate into a healthier, more equalized system.

So what is this? Yoga? Dance? Pilates? Barre?

All of the above! Our method is a full body workout that strategically infuses all of those disciplines into one. Our class is designed to be a holistic approach to wellness giving you a mind/body/soul experience. You will Sculpt, Sweat & Stretch in each workout! Do your live classes catalog after they go live?

Do your LIVE classes catalog?

Yes! Your subscription will give you access to our LIVE classes in real-time as well as on-demand shortly after filming completes. All classes are saved to our catalog so you can access them as often as you'd like anytime anywhere. If you don't have a subscription, no worries, you can rent all of our videos for $20 for 48 hours. 

How do I watch your live classes in real-time?

1) On the 'VIDEOS' page, scroll down to the bottom and click on the Upcoming Live Classes category. 

2) Look for the specific date and click on the video/date you want.

3) You will see a countdown pop up. 

4) When it's time for the LIVE class to start, just refresh your browser and press play. If for any reason you don't see Marnie right away, simply refresh again and she should appear!

BILLING AND ACCOUNT QUESTIONS

How do I reset my password?

On the login page, click Forgot Password, enter the email associated with your account, and click Send Instructions. The instruction email will arrive in your inbox shortly. In the instruction email, click Reset Password and you will be directed to select a new password before being redirected to the catalog page.  

How do I change my password?

Once signed into your account, you can change your password by clicking My Account or Dashboard from the top navigation menu. Select Password and update your password.

How do I update my billing information?

Once signed into your account, you can update your billing information by clicking My Account or Dashboard from the top navigation menu. Select Billing and update your billing information.

How do I cancel my recurring subscription?

Once signed into your account, you can cancel your recurring subscription by clicking My Account or Dashboard from the top navigation menu. Select Billing and locate your subscription plan at the bottom of the page.  Click Change Plan and Cancel Membership. Your membership will be canceled and your access will be removed at the end of your current payment period.  

My credit card is being declined. Why is that?

Many credit/debit cards have online purchase restrictions. If your card is being declined, please contact your credit card company to let them know the purchase you would like to make is valid. Also, certain credit/debit cards do not allow for recurring subscription billing, and therefore, may be denied. 

I was gifted a gift card, do I need to put my credit card information in to redeem it?

At this time the system requires subscription plans to have a credit card on file even if you have a gift card available to use. Once you input the gift card it will remove the amount of the gift card off of the total and then you will add your credit card. Playback Questions

My video does not playback smoothly. How can I fix this?

Video playback depends on several factors. To improve your playback experience, make sure you have a fast, stable internet connection. We recommend using the most recent version of Chrome, Firefox, or Safari. You may experience playback issues with outdated devices and browsers.  

Can I watch videos using Chromecast and AirPlay?

Yes! Both Chromecast and Airplay are compatible with our site.  

To use Chromecast: Locate the Chromecast icon in the bottom right corner of the video you want to cast. Click the icon and select the correct Chromecast from the pop-up in your browser.

To use AirPlay: Open the video on your apple device and click the AirPlay icon in the bottom left corner.  

Can I watch videos on my TV without using an App?

Yes. By connecting your laptop directly to your TV with an HDMI cable, you will be able to watch videos from our site on your TV.  

Can I watch videos on my phone or tablet without using an App?

Yes. Our website adapts to phone and tablet browsers so you can watch our content anywhere!  

Which browsers are supported?

While we recommend using the latest version of Google Chrome, we also support Firefox and Safari browser released within the last five years.  You may experience playback issues when using an out of date browser or any version of Internet Explorer.
